Vocational Training

The TCF vocational training program, launched in Boral, Kolkata in 2000, has significantly grown in scope and influence. In the summer of 2024, TCF expanded its impact by partnering with the local NGO Pratidhwani Sansthan in Kushalgarh, Rajasthan. Both Boral and Kushalgarh focus on empowering women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, offering training in skills such as sewing, garment cutting, design, embroidery, and handicrafts.

TCF Ghutiari Sharif Pre-school

In January 2024, TCF Ghutiari Sharif Pre-school welcomed over 40 students into Kindergarten 1 (KG-1), bringing the total number of students in KG 1 and 2 to over 80. TCF understands the importance of early education in children’s lives and is committed to providing daily breakfast, school uniforms, shoes, and supplies. The center also encourages community involvement by organizing annual sports events where both students and parents actively participate.

We are very happy to share some incredible news with you! All thirty-nine Grade 10 students from the TCF Coaching Centres in Habra and Hotar have successfully passed their Secondary Examination (Madhyamik Pariksha). This outstanding accomplishment reflects their unwavering dedication and hard work.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of the grades:

  • Grade A: 11 students

  • Grade C: 9 students
  • Grade C (Tribal students): 4 students

We are particularly proud to highlight the achievement of the four tribal students from the TCF Education Centre, established in a tribal area in 2021. Out of five enrolled students, four successfully passed their exams, all achieving Grade C. Their photographs are included below.

As you know, these remarkable students come from underprivileged families, and your support is transforming their lives in meaningful ways.

2024 Free Eye Camps

Since 2012, TCF has been organizing eye camps in underserved regions of West Bengal, with a particular focus on assisting seniors. In 2023-24, TCF hosted 27 eye camps, benefiting 4,380 participants (1,915 men and 2,465 women). Over 3,300 individuals received free eyeglasses, while others were referred to specialists for more advanced eye care.
